Eyelash Extensions
What Are Eyelash Extensions?
Professional eyelash extensions are single strands of synthetic lashes applied to each individual natural lash. I use safe, medical-grade adhesive. A full set of eyelash extensions takes between 1 1/2- 2 hours to apply and can be maintained year-round with touch-ups every 3 weeks. Depending on when you come in for a touch-up, your appointment will range from a half hour to an hour.
Just had my lashes done for the first time. And let me tell you. I'm in love with them. And DaLinda is so professional and very personal. I highly recommend her. You won't be disappointed!

Frequently Asked Questions
No, you cannot go blind.
Your eyes will be closed during the application. There is no way glue can get into your eye. My adhesive is safe and does not contain formaldehyde.
NO. It is a very relaxing process. You will most likely go to sleep.
YES. Wait 24 hours after application to allow adhesive to cure.
YES. Do not wear waterproof mascara and apply only on the tips. Applying mascara at the base of your lash extensions is difficult to remove and looks clumpy. Use only non oil-based cleanser on/ around the eye.
NO. When applied and cared for properly, eyelash extensions will not harm your natural lashes.
The lashes are weightless!
The lashes are applied one lash at a time. I isolate a natural eyelash and then adhere a single lash extension to the top of it by using a special bonding adhesive made exclusively for eyelash extensions. This is done approximately 1mm from the eyelid, so neither the lash nor the adhesive has contact with your skin. Again, the lashes are NOT applied to your skin-just your eyelash hair.
Indefinitely with Touch-Up appointments. Natural lashes are constantly shedding, and new ones are growing in their place. Extensions will fall out along with your natural lashes when they’re at the end of their growth stage. As the new ones come in, they will need to have extensions attached.
Yes, absolutely recommended for events such as reunions, weddings, honeymoons, vacations, proms, formals, photo shoots, etc.
The extensions shed with your natural lash that it is attached to. Growth and shedding cycles are inconsistent and random, so to maintain your new look, I recommend having a “Touch-Up” every 3 weeks.
You will know when about 25-30% of your lash extensions have fallen out.
Anyone of any age (women AND men) can have eyelash extensions as long as there is a healthy, natural lash to adhere the extension onto.
If you are under the age of 18, your parent must accompany you to the appointment and sign a consent form for you.
It may seem like a lot to remember, but eyelash extensions are very easy to take care of. The most important thing to be aware of is that “oil is the enemy”. Oil will break down the bond of the adhesive and cause premature loss of the extension. You want to make sure there is no oil in anything you use near your eyes. (foundation, eye creams, makeup, etc.) You do not want to get them wet for 24 hours. Never pull on them. Avoid running water on your lashes. Avoid sauna or hot steam. Use only water-based makeup remover. Do not rub your eyes. Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler. Do not sleep on your face. When shampooing or conditioning, do not allow them to run over your eyes. No cotton balls, Q-tips, or makeup wipes. Take caution around heat/steam. Keep eyelashes clean by washing with antibacterial soap three times per week.

While you relax, I perform the delicate task of attaching one lash at a time. In fact, most clients fall asleep! I play relaxing music but feel free to bring your iPod, audio book or favorite CD’s!
1. Be sure to have all makeup removed from the eye area. The more time I spend doing this for you, the less time I have to apply lashes!
2. Do not drink too much caffeine before your appointment. This can make your lashes flutter, which makes it difficult to apply lashes.
3. Please put your cell phone on vibrate or silent.
4. If you would like, bring your iPod to listen to.
5. You may want to visit the ladies' room beforehand.
